Discourses of Death in Russia, 2022–2023 (In Russian)

Abstract:

Since the beginning of the war with Ukraine, the theme of death has been present in Russia’s public sphere. The ways it is discussed are analytically significant, as attitudes towards the dead and relationships with them can reveal something important about the living.
