RESEARCH SEMINAR: Mykola Homanyuk — Inside Diversity: Faces and Perspectives of Multiethnic Ukraine (online)

Juni 11 @ 18:00 - 20:00

Research seminar on Inside Diversity: Faces and Perspectives of Multiethnic Ukraine
The seminar consists of five online sessions dedicated to six ethnic groups in Ukraine: Crimean Tatars, Roma, Yazidis, Germans, Swedes, Assyrians, and Akhiska Turks. During these sessions, we will discuss the history of these groups’ arrival in Ukraine, the geography of their settlement, their culture, and the impact of the war on them. Before the full-scale invasion began, Mykola Homanyuk participated in the filming of a television program about these groups. During the seminar, participants will not only be able to watch these films but also meet their protagonists—representatives of Ukraine’s national minorities and indigenous peoples.
